A Special Call

Working in the Hospital Health Care Ministry is a special call, a great vocation, an invitation to serve others. One is free to respond in any way. Some may respond to it creatively by total self commitment to serve a special group of people such as the sick, the dying and those who are physically, emotionally and spiritually broken, as well as the poor, the oppressed and the marginalized. Being involved in the health care ministry is a special call and a great challenge for me as a Sister of Mount Carmel.
